1. The Aklan State University, through the Special Trust Fund (STF) and General Appropriations Act 2015 intends to apply the sum of Five Hundred Eighty Three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Pesos (Php583,750.00); Five Hundred Eighty Six Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety Pesos (Php586,890.00); and, Six Hundred Six Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Pesos (Php606,520.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Procurement of Construction Materials for: Lot 1 - Repair of Research and Development Services (RDS) Building; Lot 2 - Repair of College Building’s Ceiling, Partition, Timber Flooring, Doors and Windows; and, Lot 3 – Conversion of Single-Phase to Three-Phase System, Replacement of Service Equipment and Rewiring of Electrical Installation (College Building), respectively. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2. The Aklan State University now invites bids for the Procurement of Construction Materials for: Lot 1 - Repair of Research and Development Services (RDS) Building; Lot 2 - Repair of College Building’s Ceiling, Partition, Timber Flooring, Doors and Windows; and, Lot 3 - Conversion of Single-Phase to Three-Phase System, Replacement of Service Equipment and Rewiring of Electrical Installation (College Building) .Delivery of the Goods is required within fifteen (15) days. Bidders should have completed, within two years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138.
4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the BAC Secretariat, Aklan State University, Banga, Aklan and inspect the Bidding Documents from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on March 26, 2015 from the address above and upon payment of a non- refundable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of One Thousand Two Hundred Pesos Only (P1,500.00).
It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) provided that Bidders shall pay the nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.
6. The Aklan State Universitywill hold a Pre-Bid Conference on April 8, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at the ASU Conference Room, which shall beopen to all interested parties.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before April 20, 2015, 9:30 A.M. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
8. Bid opening shall be on April 20, 2015, 11:00 A.M.at the ASU Conference Room. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
9. The Aklan State University reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.

The Aklan State University-Banga Campus, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) intends to apply the sum of Two Million Pesos (P2,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Construction of Two-Storey Tissue Culture Laboratory Facility. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2. The Aklan State University-Banga Campus now invites bids for the Construction of Two-Storey Tissue Culture Laboratory Facility. Completion of the Works is required within 120 days. Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using nondiscretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
